Close the sandwich maker and unplug it. Note that the power and readiness indicator lights come on, indicating that the preheating started. It takes about 3 minutes to reach the grilling temperature, the readiness indicator then switches off. Open the lid and place the food on the lower grilling plate. Close the lid. The readiness light comes on again. After grilling about 2 or 3 minutes the readiness light switches off again. Adjust the cooking time to your own taste and favourite degree of doneness....
