To remove the Elna from its case (for free-arm models) : 1. Remove the 4 screws at the bottom. Keep them in the accessory box for use again, if necessary (for example, for shipping your Elna). 2. Open the flap. 3. Remove the cover. 4. Remove the foot control and cord, then the machine and the accessory box. 5. To have a large sewing surface, use the cover as a sewing table. N.B. When closing the case, place the cover horizontally (see 3 above), resting it on the support (a) so that the cover slides into the groove. Lower the lid and close the flap....
