Filling with water With the iron disconnected from the mains supply, set the variable steam control Q to the ‘O’ position Q. Lift up the fill cap > and using the beaker provided fill the iron with water C. One beaker fills the tank (400ml). Replace the fill cap. Always pour out the remaining water after use. In hard water areas the use of distilled or demineralised water is recommended. IMPORTANT: Never use battery topping up fluid or water containing any substances like starch, or sugar, or defrosted water from a refridgerator....
