Turning the device on and off Before you can turn on your MP3 player, the w switch must be in the "ON" position. Subsequently turn on your MP3 player by pressing the A button for approximately 2 seconds. To put the MP3 player in standby mode, hold down the A button for approximately 2 seconds.
